Today I have a few recommendations:
You should finish college before getting married.
If possible, buy your own house before getting married.
If you go live in your husband’s house, or if he buys your house, make sure you get married with partial property. You should have both of your names on your home.
Keep your own source of income if possible. Don’t quit your job if your boyfriend or fiancé or husband asks. Quit him instead. Or her.
If you can keep on working when you have kids, fine. If you can’t, try to at least keep on learning and studying.
Don’t ever let a companion commit any sort of violence towards you, physical or psychological. Also don’t accept it from any boss or co-worker. Help is always available and you can always count on us.
Unless you want to have kids and you’re 100% sure your companion is free of STIs, always use a condom when you have intercourse. Including oral sex. At this time, it is still the best method to avoid STIs.
You should always take your education and financial independence very seriously. And never take shit from anyone – no companion is worth it. You can always find a new one if you want to and you can be just fine by yourself.
