I’m an Asperger. More precisely, I have Autism Spectrum Disorder. And now I’m a father.
I had a hard time learning about the world and dealing with my condition growing up, so I thought I’d try to share some of the knowledge I have acquired to my daughter, by writing her one letter for each day of the year, starting when she was 4 months old.
I wish I had some kind of manual to the world and social and personal relations, it would have saved me a lot of trouble. So I tried to write one to my daughter and try to save her some trouble.
It turns out this is also a chronicle of things I used to do and think about before the Covid-19 pandemic. It was written between 2018 and 2019.
It might be a welcome relief reading about aspects of life before the pandemics, while we wait for it to be over.
Other autistic or neurotypical people out there might benefit from some of my insights and they might have valuable contributions to share. People can improve my arguments, prove me wrong, challenge my viewpoints – push me to evolve.
In the future a strong AI could possibly read my ramblings and try to simulate my personality, so another version of me can keep on existing.
So I thought I’d publish it here. I hope you like it.
