My dear daughter,
There are lots of psychopaths, sociopaths and toxic people out there. Sometimes they are not mentally ill, they are just very mediocre, pathetic, insecure and envious people.
They will try to use all kinds of aggressive behavior to put down people they feel are a threat to them. Any person can be a threat, since they are insecure cowards. They will use passive-aggressive talk, they will talk behind your back, they will try to force you out of the group, and many other idiots back them up.
The best way to deal with this kind of person is to simply have no contact with them. Do not approach them, don’t give them any opportunity to approach you, don’t give them any freedom or power over you. Just let them go after their stupid obsessions by themselves.
If it is unavoidable, the only way to deal with them is to make them fearful and respectful of you. Show strength, don’t show any weaknesses. Intimidate them. That’s the only thing a coward respects. Make them see it is not in their best interest to go against you.
As a golden rule, it’s best to not owe favors to anyone. Don’t accept expensive favors for free. They will always come later to charge the price. If you need something from someone, make sure you can repay it soon after. You have to be your own woman.
Your mother and I are the only exceptions. We’ll always give you anything we can and we will never charge for anything.
